Century Plyboards (India) Ltd is an India-based company that operates in five business segments: plywood, laminates, ferro alloys and power, cement, and others. The plywood segment produces plywood, block-board, veneer and timber. The laminate segment includes decorative laminates and prelaminated boards. The ferro alloys segments produces ferro silicon. The other segment produces logisics, adhesives and chemicals. Its subsidiaries include Cement Manufacturing Co. Ltd (CMCL), Megha Technical & Engineers Pvt. Ltd (MTEPL) and Auro Sundaram Ply & Doors Pvt Ltd (ASPDPL). During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008, CMCL acquired Star Cement Meghalaya Ltd. (SCML) and as such SCML also became a subsidiary of the Company with effect from June 2, 2007. In April 2008, the Company took over the ownership of Chennai-based Sharon Veneers Pvt Ltd and Sharon Wood Industries Pvt Ltd.
